Saturday night ( 3 May 2008) was some race, Denny Hamlin’s tire blowing out was one of the ending changing in the race, we will never know if Dale Earnhardt Jr. would have won the race because things happen. Kyle Bush and Jr were racing, racing as hard as they could. I do not know what anyone thought; I just figured they were racing as hard as each of them could to try to win. If there was a mistake made, well both of them were trying, they could have done many things differently and they, now, where trying as hard as they could. After over 300 laps I thought great driving off or turn 2 was something to brag about, because I though Kyle had him beat when they came through turns one and two, Jr had Busch driving as hard as he could into turn 3 and we all saw what happen. Some people believe that Busch wrecked Jr. However, other believes that he did not want to wreck him because it would put his on car, and win at risk, he wanted to win, not wreck.

A little track history, in 1946 Richmond was a half-mile dirt track called Strawberry Hill Speedway. The first NASCAR ran in Richmond was in 1953, and in 1991 Richmond International Raceway has raced major races at night, under the lights, Richmond’s unique three quarter mile track is great for side by side racing, but even though the track is short, you still get the super speed way feel there.

Dale has many top five’s and top tens. Even Jeff Gordon had a top ten finish. The other teams are learning about the new car of tomorrow, now it is the car of today.

Kyle Busch is getting allot of negative response from Jr. Fans, but as the Great Dale Earnhart Sr. use to say. “If the fans are booing you or applauding you, the are paying attention, they are talking”.
